Fontaine Heritage Antique Auction Details for Sunday April 26th 2015:
Fabulous Discovery Auction at 11am
Main Auction begins around 12:30.

11:00 a.m.: We will be selling a 50 year untouched collection of antique postcards from a Canaan, NY estate. (Over 40,000 postcards sold in large lots). Also estate fresh collection of books and Ephemera (from early 1800's to 1920's)

Approximately 12:30 main sale consisting of great period, country, oak, Victorian. Also great swords, crocks, super toys, dolls, costume jewelry, garden stationary, clocks, lamps, lots of paintings, instruments, rugs, sterling, bear rugs, slot machines, Orientals, china, glass, watches plus much more.

There is literally 1000's of lots of fresh antiques untouched out of area estates and never on the market we will be selling quick and many items in lots.

Period furniture, country and related items: Super 1830's 2-drawer blanket chest with carved front tall cut out legs with early hinges. Unusual all original tiger maple window seat. Period tiger maple low boy (high boy base) with fan carving and clubfeet. Two fine period round chair tables one with shoe foot cut out with drawer, large barrel back corner cupboard with cut out shelves and panel doors. Cut out top, fine built in cupboard with wide board backs and tiger paneled doors. Spectacular 1790's 1820's hand painted bowed door chimney corner cupboard with ship scenic door. Period Mahogany grandfather clock "Houghton" with moon dial Corinthian columns. Two nice tavern tables one with wide board top and bread board ends. Large and unusual corn husker with oriental wrighting, awesome bow top blanket box signed A.J. Amno 1798 with all original multi color paint decoration. Period open top cupboard with raised panel door, several blanket boxes, early wood box with punched brass scene, 2 early Rosewood mortar and pedestal, 1 dated 1776, 2 19th century book scrappers one with sphinx. Several nice crocks, 1 Whites & Sons with big bird, Ballard with dragonfly. 19th c small loom, 4 drawer coats spool desk, several early tin advertisers, 2 great period checker board, 2 large tin, candlestick lamps, 2- piece drop front desk on frame, Federal Acanthus carved drop leaf table. Period wingback, 2 period empire enter tables, 2 shaker rockers, shaker double chalk board, blind churn in blue "Elma" coffee grinder. Several antique oil cans, 2-piece blind door empire secretary, set of great 17th or 18th Flemish heavily carved tall back chairs. Period Queen Anne swing leg drop leaf in original color and club feet period cherry drop front with fitted interior, shaker style hire man bed. Pair of period English 3 door chests, large bucket bench in blue, period andirons, antique leather fine bucket, figured maple document box, deacon's bench plus much more.

Two super slot machines including "Reel 21" in original paint. Super nickel slot with horoscopes. Three nice swords including rare 1788 cavalry sword. Marked EGG (marked Jemigan?) with blade fully engraved with scabbard (from the original family home) sword medals and photos of Ed Welles Jr. overseas surgeon general in WWI. 1864 Civil war sword and scabbard, German officers dress boyonette with bond handle. Marked with double squirrels. Leather holder and sheath, awesome Kingsbury fire engine with ladders in original paint. Buddy L. dump truck in original paint. Three original Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls original 1966 Barbie Mattel with holes in feet. Diamond ring and earrings, Steiff jointed bear, Bisque17" French Unis, bisque doll, German B. 3 dolls, Several other bisque dolls, 8 large antique composition princess dolls with beautiful dresses. Dolls carriage in original stenciling, original "Peps" hat with several original buttons. Several 1960's and 1970's car posters (32) several early boxes of union blocks in original cases. Ship paintings, featherweight sewing machine. Pair of large Apothecary jars, Stanley "45" plane in box. "Special Model" squeeze box, large early pot with Egyptian designs. Viking fan, folk ship, early medal horse and dragon cut out. Two hand made oriental rugs including 20' palace size oriental. Several wood shaft golf clubs, Samavuar, Retro Z-table with glass top. Piles of glass and china sold in lots. Mini Griswald pan, collection of oil lamps Steroptian viewer and cards.
