Fontaine Heritage Antique Auction Details for Sunday December 7th 2014:
Special Military Auction at 11:30am,
Main auction begins at noon.

We will be selling over 500 lots of estate fresh antiques including Shaker work bench from New Lebanon. Shaker grain bin, 2 stoves, bed, etc. Also a great selection of crocks, baskets, early porcelain, signs and paintings, most from two great estates from Cheshire and Pittsfield, MA 11:30 we will be selling a private lifelong collection of Military items (owner deceased).

Special Military Auction at 11:30am including several Nazi items including flags, knives, helmets, dishware, swords, original Hitler photos, scrapbooks, boyonettes, pins, selection of books, large group of coats and jump suits. Ball and chain, coins, pins, buttons, medals, signal canons, etc. (lots of photos on line). Main Auction Starts approximately 12:00 noon – Incredible collection of estate fresh period, country, crocks, baskets, shaker, signs, (posters from the old Gallagher’s Steak House in NYC). Nice early paintings fresh from the attic, wonderful collection of oriental, Rose medallions and canton, Lowestoft, including a very brief list. (look on line for over 500 photos)

One of a kind New Lebanon Shaker workbench found in Brelkeren’s workshop in New Lebanon by Peter Williams. Said to be David Rowly’s of the Church Family. The name Cox stamped on the bench, there was a close relationship between Cox and the Williams family. (privately owned, estate fresh). Great Shaker grain bin in red from Saboth Day Lake, Maine, 2 Shaker stoves, 1 meeting house casted at John Ford. Foundry Concork N.H. also a penny foot from New Lebanon, Shaker Hireman bed, sap bucket in blue, etc. Collection of wonderful crocks, including several with large birds, flowers, ovoides, miniatures, red ware etc.. Several large period cupboards including step back, large open plate cupboards. Wonderful dry sink, several period desks including drop front, station master some in color, great fold art, Hudson River boat in original patina. Fabulous selection of great large signs, (Young, Munson, Cole, Boston 5). Dozens of early baskets, large, small, swing handle, period blanket, chest some in color. Period chests, chair, table, benches, awesome set of 8 grain painted rush seat chairs, wood bowls, period, mirrors, 7 early Turner’s 18th & 19th century. 19th c. Brewster chair, period wing back, awesome tiger maple candle box, period Graduated dr. chest. Large sap tub, several early painting 1-18th c. “Padre” Eustacchio manseuto Piella, 1759, Great early old master painting by Guardi?” of early ruins. Attic fresh, magnificent collection of early canton, Rose medallion, lowestoft, period platters including huge rose medallion punch bowl, oriental vases, etc. Wooden wheel barrel in original paint, several toll trays, cut out of iron, dragon, 3 early coal flat irons 1 with Rooster, 2 cast iron urns, hitching post, great S& B wagon with rumble seat (no wheels), dozens of pictures from the original Gallogher’s Streak House, most from early 1900’s.

Victorian, Lamps, Toys, China, Clocks and accessories, Louis Vuitton trunks, etc. Two wonderful Louis Vuitton trunks 1 ó size with liner #162149 and 48271. Set of 8 1880-1910 hand made puppets in original cloths. In super condition, hand carved dog cane with glass eyes, dozens of lamps including oil, Gone with the Wind, Piano, ceiling, etc. Lots of china and glass many sold in lots. Several early estate paintings, pastels, steel engravings, selection of Victorian oak and Mahogany furniture including inlaid breakfront with broken arch top and mirrored back. Fancy cylinder desk with fancy gallery. Several banquet tables, some with leaves, custom secretary and dressing screen. Nice oak mantel, oversize danner stacker, several stacking bookcases. Pr. Beveled leaded windows, inlaid custom console table. Fancy oak slant front secretary, inlaid breakfront with porcelain plaque. Inlaid serving stand, 3 inlaid tilt top tables, oak chair, table, leather Chester field sofa, teak MT. table, walnut davenport desk, large turtle shape empire center table, 3 piece decorated pine bed set, walnut Victorian hall tree, 2 door mahogany wardrobe with mirrored interior. Fancy china cabinet, Hunt-zinger rope twist table, fabulous 3 door display with marble top, serpentine mahogany victrola “sinora” empire shape top center table, bow front oak corner cabinet with claw and ball feet, Huge 60” mahogany banquet table with 6 leaves, pair of custom maple high post beds, 3 door ice box, wicker fire screen, plus much, much more.
